Delete your FreePlay account

Delete your account in the FreePlay app

The quickest method is inside the app:

1. Open FreePlay.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Select Delete account.
4. Follow the confirmation steps.

Request deletion without the app

You can also request deletion here if you no longer have the app or cannot access your account.

Enter the email address used for your FreePlay account. We will use it only to locate the account, verify that the request is genuine and process the deletion.

What happens next

1. We receive your deletion request.
2. We may contact you at the account email address to verify your identity.
3. Once verified, we delete the FreePlay account and associated personal data, except for any limited information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or regulatory reasons.
4. We confirm when the request has been completed.

We respond to deletion requests without undue delay, normally within one month.

Information normally deleted

Deleting a FreePlay account normally removes account-linked information such as:

• your profile and login credentials
• favourites and saved places
• private Lists and saved Help Me Choose plans
• preferences and personalisation attached to your account
• reviews, photos and edit suggestions associated with your account
• recorded visits, progress and account-linked activity
• notification tokens and other account-linked app data

FreePlay may retain limited records where required for legal, financial, security or fraud-prevention purposes. Information that has been irreversibly anonymised and can no longer identify you may also remain in aggregate statistics.
